De Alcove Lowback is een ontwerp van Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for the Vitra brand. Said Seating unit Als was created as a haven for more privacy, stemming from the ‘space within a space’ office concept. The soft, fabric-covered high back and side panels are designed to provide peace and shelter, blocking out visual and acoustical environmental noise. The tall, slender steel tube frame creates a sense of airiness and lightness. It is, in effect, a private niche that fosters a homely atmosphere in the office!
