The Bell 118 LED pendant light is a design by Manuel, Veness and Vivian for the Axolight brand. The Bell Pendant light offers a renewed interpretation of the classic dome shape. Despite its striking size, the design with soft lines and light materials ensures an airy appearance. The lamp not only provides good light but also has a sound-dampening effect. The pongee fabric used is flame-retardant and effectively absorbs sound. This allows Bell to reduce ambient noise by up to 59%, thanks to a sound-absorbing surface area of 4.63 square metres.
In 2010, Bell received the prestigious Elle Deco International Design Awards in the Lighting category, in recognition of its innovative design.
